YOUR INFORMATION
Privacy Policy
Last updated: 23 September 2026
Launch or Die is operated by Wayne Butcher and Chris Jeong (“we”, “us” or “our”).
This policy explains how we collect, use, store and share personal information when you visit www.launch-or-die.com, complete our forms, contact us or participate in our programmes.
For privacy questions or requests, email hello@launch-or-die.com.
1. Information we collect

- Your name, email address and phone number.
- Information about your skills, experience, interests, project ideas and goals.
- Answers you provide in enquiry forms, questionnaires and diagnostics.
- Messages, feedback and other information you share with us.
- Programme registration, purchase and transaction details.
- Information you contribute through programme activities or community discussions.
- Technical information, including your IP address, browser, device, pages visited and interactions with our website or advertisements.
You can choose not to provide personal information. However, this may prevent us from responding to an enquiry, generating a diagnostic report or delivering parts of our services.
2. How we collect information
We collect personal information when you:

- Request programme information or complete a diagnostic.

- Participate in our training, support or community activities.
We may also receive information from payment providers, advertising platforms and service providers involved in these interactions.
Some technical information is collected automatically through cookies, pixels and similar technologies.
3. How we use information
We use personal information to:
- Respond to enquiries and provide information you request.
- Generate and deliver diagnostic results and reports.
- Provide training, guidance, community access and support.
- Manage registrations, payments and programme access.
- Understand your goals and personalise relevant guidance.

4. AI-assisted diagnostics and services
We use AI services to analyse diagnostic answers and help generate personalised reports or guidance.
We currently use Anthropic. We may also use OpenAI, the provider of ChatGPT, or change providers as our services develop.
Your diagnostic answers and relevant context may be sent to these providers for processing. Please avoid including sensitive personal information or confidential information about other people in your answers.
AI providers process information under the terms and privacy arrangements applicable to the services we use. Their handling of data may differ depending on the product and account configuration.
AI-generated reports may contain errors and should be treated as general guidance, rather than a guarantee of business results.
5. Marketing communications
Where you have consented, or where otherwise permitted by law, we may contact you by email, SMS or phone about Launch or Die, upcoming cohorts and related offers.
You can opt out of marketing by:
- Using the unsubscribe link in our emails.
- Following the opt-out instructions in our SMS messages.
- Emailing hello@launch-or-die.com.
Opting out of marketing does not stop essential communications about your purchase, account or programme participation.
6. Cookies, analytics and advertising tracking
Our website may use cookies, pixels and similar technologies to operate the site, understand visitor activity and measure advertising results.
We use Google Tag Manager to manage and deploy measurement tags. Through Google Tag Manager we may use Google Analytics to understand website usage, traffic sources and visitor behaviour, and Meta advertising tools, including the Meta Pixel, to measure actions such as website visits, enquiries and purchases. We may also use Microsoft Clarity to record heatmaps and anonymous session recordings of how visitors interact with our pages.
Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity may collect technical and usage information such as your browser, device, approximate location, pages visited, clicks, scroll behaviour and session interactions. Microsoft Clarity session recordings and heatmaps may capture on-page interactions but not the contents of fields marked for masking.
To protect your personal information, we apply masking to personal-details fields (such as name, email and phone number), free-text answers in our diagnostics, and generated report content, so these are not captured in heatmaps or session recordings. Masking is applied on our pages; if you visit a third-party site, its own privacy practices apply.
These tools may share information with their respective providers, including device and browser information, pages visited, event details and identifiers used to match activity to an account. Where configured, matching information may include hashed contact details. Hashing does not necessarily make information anonymous.
We use these tools to measure campaign performance, understand website usage and improve our pages, and may show relevant advertising, including to people who have previously interacted with us.
We use a consent-mode approach so measurement tags respect your tracking preference. Where tracking is not permitted, measurement events are not sent. You can manage cookies through your browser settings and advertising preferences through the relevant platform. Where available, you can also use our website’s cookie controls.
Blocking cookies may affect some website functions and does not necessarily prevent all server-side data sharing.
You can read Meta’s privacy policy at https://www.facebook.com/privacy/policy/, Google’s privacy policy at https://policies.google.com/privacy, and Microsoft’s privacy policy at https://privacy.microsoft.com/.
7. Who we share information with

If you join a third-party community platform, information you provide directly to that platform is also subject to its privacy policy. Your profile and posts may be visible to other members, depending on the platform and your settings.
We may also disclose information where required or authorised by law, to protect legal rights or in connection with a business transfer, subject to applicable privacy requirements.
8. Payments
Payments are processed through Stripe.
We may receive transaction details, payment status and limited payment information needed to manage your purchase. Full payment card details are handled by the payment provider rather than stored by us.
You can read Stripe’s privacy policy at https://stripe.com/privacy.
9. Overseas processing
Our technology providers may store or process personal information outside Australia, including in the United States and other countries in which they or their service providers operate.
The locations involved depend on the provider, service and configuration used. You can contact us for further information about the providers handling your information.
Where applicable, we take reasonable steps required by Australian privacy law in relation to overseas disclosures.
10. Security and retention
We take reasonable steps to protect personal information against misuse, interference, loss and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure.
However, no online service or method of transmission is completely secure.
We retain personal information for as long as reasonably needed to deliver our services, manage our relationship with you, resolve disputes and meet legal or recordkeeping requirements.
When information is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to destroy or de-identify it, subject to applicable requirements.
11. Access, correction and deletion requests
You can email hello@launch-or-die.com to request access to personal information we hold about you or ask us to correct information that is inaccurate, incomplete or out of date.
You may also request deletion. We will consider your request in accordance with applicable law and any information we need to retain for legitimate business or legal purposes.

Our website and programmes may link to third-party websites or tools. Their handling of personal information is governed by their own privacy policies.

Please provide enough information for us to understand and investigate your concern.
We aim to respond to privacy complaints within 30 days. If we need more time, we will let you know.
If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at https://www.oaic.gov.au/.
14. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our services and practices change. The current version will be published on our website with its last updated date.
